For Atelier Luxembourg, five Luxembourg museum institutions are collaborating to present, during the 2012-2013 season, a glimpse of creative activity in Luxembourg from 1945 to the present day. This vast panorama brings back to life the struggles of innovative artists living in a country that was, for a long time, situated on the margins of dominant artistic trends but which, since the beginning of 1990, has found its place in the European artistic development.

The exhibition Atelier Luxembourg - The Venice Biennale Projects 1988-2011 at Mudam will present a retrospective look at the projects created for the Luxembourg Pavilion at the Venice Biennale since 1988. It also reflects, in an indirect way, the considerable development of the artistic scene of Luxembourg in the last 25 years. The exhibition is curated by Enrico Lunghi.
